JKL Sustainable Cyprus, trading as Elektra Energy, began as the dream of co-founders Kathryn Savvides Reodica and Jerald Reodica. We provide custom turn-key solutions for clients seeking on-grid and off-grid sustainable energy systems in Cyprus.

Driven by the urgency of

We aim to be a leading renewable energy integrator on the island by combining our range of experiences in green construction, real estate, luxury sales and client relations — and we deeply care about electrifying your life with the power of the sun.

We are purpose-driven sustainable energy integrators in Cyprus. We not only design and build these renewable energy systems — we live by them. Our own family home runs off-grid on its own sun, and our electric car charges from the same array. We're not selling a future we hope for; we're sharing the life we already live. We want future generations to live on a planet with clean water, air and land.

Kathryn Savvides Reodica

Managing Director

Cypriot-born and raised, with a transatlantic career braided through public service, real estate, and high-touch client work. As Building Department Coordinator at the City of South San Francisco, she helped pave the way for fully digital permitting — modernising how construction projects flowed through municipal review. From there she became a Licensed California Realtor, before returning home to Cyprus as a RE/MAX Property Specialist serving international and luxury clients. The thread running through all of it is the same: a deep belief in community, in clean construction, and in the climate. Her conviction that her home island deserves the same energy independence she has seen built elsewhere is what brought Elektra Energy into being.

Jerald Reodica

Technical Director

Former Tesla and SolarCity employee — PV Installer, PV Crew Lead, Licensed Residential Electrician, Technical Trainer, Instructional Designer, and Multimedia Developer. Personally participated in and led the installation of over 2 megawatts of solar PV in California. Award of Excellence at the STC 2017 International Summit for the training video "Wiring the Tesla Powerwall".

As a Multimedia Developer at Tesla, Jerald accelerated the adoption of stationary storage and solar electricity in North America, Australia and Europe. One of the primary voices of SolarCity University (later absorbed into Tesla Energy Training).

Instructional Multimedia Designer in Installation Quality and Training — built solar PV curricula and training videos covering Powerwall, LG Chem, and inverters from Fronius, SolarEdge, Delta and SMA.

As a Solar PV Installer, Jerald applied roofing and green-building best practices across composition shingles, modified bitumen, tile, corrugated metal and standing seam — building systems designed to last 30+ years.

Swiss-engineered Swiss Solar panels (we're Cyprus distributor) paired with Tier-1 Growatt inverters and storage. No grey-market components. Long warranties on every line item.
